We have partnered with our friends from The Dovetail in Glenside to bring this cult classic to the big screen in anticipation of their upcoming Summer Concert Series at The Abington Art Center returning this June!
This John Landis musical pairs comedic titans John Belushi and Dan Akyroyd as the “Blues Brothers,” sent “on a mission from God” to save the Catholic orphanage in which they were raised. To do this, they must get their old band back together and play gigs to raise the money they need. Featuring performances by Aretha Franklin,James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, and many more, this film is an enduring comedic classic and a fond tribute to the Black artists who pioneered R&B, soul, and blues music.
50% of all ticket proceeds will benefit the 2025 Summer Concert Series at Abington Art Center.
